Arc Raiders has won Nordic Game of the Year at the Nordic Game Awards, along with best audio and best technology. Battlefield 6 was left empty-handed.
Arc Raiders, developed by Embark Studios, emerged victorious as the Nordic Game of the Year at the prestigious Nordic Game Awards held in Malmö, Sweden on May 28. The game also clinched the titles for best technology and best audio. Other contenders in the category included Battlefield 6, Dune: Awakening, Split Fiction, and My Winter Car.
Embark Studios' Split Fiction, although nominated for four awards, secured only one for Best Game Design. Conversely, Battlefield 6, nominated in three categories, failed to secure any wins. Swedish studios dominated the event by winning five out of the seven awards, while Danish studios claimed the remaining two categories.
The winners included Arc Raiders for Nordic Game of the Year, The Midnight Walk for Best Art, Split Fiction for Best Game Design, Arc Raiders for Best Technology, Arc Raiders for Best Audio, Lego Voyagers for Best Fun for Everyone, and Discounty for Best Debut.
