Both agencies, which operate under Keywords Studios, will work alongside each other
US-based games PR firm Fortyseven Communications is set to establish a London office and merge with its sister agency, Indigo Pearl. Craig Sinel, EVP and co-founder of Fortyseven, will oversee the UK branch. Both agencies are part of Keywords Studios, with Indigo Pearl being acquired in 2020 for £2 million and Fortyseven in 2023 for an undisclosed sum. In addition, Keywords Studios acquired the Italian PR company LabCom in 2022.
Indigo Pearl will maintain its client services with support from Fortyseven's new London team. Meanwhile, Fortyseven will explore fresh business prospects in collaboration with Indigo Pearl. The company is also introducing a global Creator Relations initiative, focusing on creators' work processes and audience engagement.
Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17), a content creator with extensive experience across YouTube, Twitch, TV, and live production, will spearhead the program. Sibel Sunar, founder and CEO of Fortyseven, expressed pride in the firm's 20-year history and appreciation for everyone who contributed to its growth. The expansion into the UK, the inclusion of the Indigo Pearl team, and the launch of the new creator practice mark a significant milestone for Fortyseven.
