The Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) is considering a legal challenge against the full implementation of affordability checks for UK gambling.
According to the BGC, it is contemplating legal action due to the stringent Financial Risk Assessments (FRAs) which are part of the Gambling Commission's affordability check solution. The industry body feels compelled to challenge this measure, indicating that it may pursue a legal route to address its concerns.
